marriage- What I have learned

What I have realized, is that Marriage isn't the end all to a happily ever after life.

I have thought of it a while ago, I realized it;

Marriage is basically about 2 people, coming together with their own sets of problems, to live together, through sickness or health or wealth, through troubles, hardships till death!. Now thats a long time!

and I learned, that you shouldn't  be the needy wife that saps everything she needs from her husband, be the person who builds your husband up.

Proverbs 12:4

A wife of noble character is her husband's crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.

I saw this because my older brother got married, and my sister in law, builds him up.
Its like the other part of him. Its like two puzzle peices that fit together and they keep on building on each other, like the other half.

Thats what I've learned. and its commitment. til death do us part.

Mark 10:6-9

"But at the beginning of creation God 'made them male and female.'  'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,  and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one.  Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

  3. Yes, I agree that having both the woman and man support each other and build each other up really makes the marriage last. :) Nice post!
